Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Atlas Mentorship platform ("Atlas," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the platform. These Terms apply to all users, including mentees, mentors, and visitors.

Atlas Mentorship LLC operates an online marketplace that connects high school students ("Mentees") with recently admitted college students ("Mentors") for peer-to-peer college admissions guidance. Atlas does not provide licensed educational consulting services. Mentors are independent individuals sharing their personal experiences and insights.

Mentees: You must be at least 13 years old to use Atlas. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf. By using the platform, you represent that your parent or guardian has consented. Mentors: You must be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled in or recently admitted to a college or university to register as a Mentor. All users must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and keep that information up to date.

Mentors on Atlas are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of Atlas Mentorship LLC. Atlas does not control the content, accuracy, or outcome of any mentorship session. Any advice, guidance, or information provided by a Mentor reflects that individual's personal experience and opinion only. Atlas makes no guarantee that any mentor's guidance will result in college admission or any particular outcome.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@atlasmentorship.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Introductory Calls: Atlas offers a free introductory call between Mentees and Mentors before any paid sessions begin. Recurring Sessions: Session pricing is set by individual Mentors and displayed on their profiles. No long-term contracts or monthly subscriptions are required. Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider. By making a payment, you agree to that provider's terms and authorize the applicable charge. Refunds: Because payments are split between Atlas and the Mentor at the time of transaction, refunds are not guaranteed. If you believe a session was not delivered as described, contact us at support@atlasmentorship.com within 7 days of the session date and we will review your request. Atlas will make reasonable efforts to facilitate a resolution but cannot guarantee a full or partial refund in all cases.

You agree not to: • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity • Share, distribute, or resell any session content without the written consent of both parties • Harass, threaten, or engage in discriminatory conduct toward any other user • Attempt to circumvent the Atlas platform to arrange payments or sessions directly with Mentors or Mentees outside of Atlas • Upload or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

All content on the Atlas platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to Atlas Mentorship LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any platform content without our express written permission. Session recordings, if any, may only be made with the explicit written consent of all parties involved.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ATLAS MENTORSHIP LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. ATLAS DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC OUTCOME FROM MENTORSHIP SESSIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO COLLEGE ADMISSION.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ATLAS MENTORSHIP LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ATLAS IN THE 90 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Atlas Mentorship LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall first be submitted to informal negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Memphis, Tennessee. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform immediately ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 9, 10, 11, and 12.
